1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. flavor
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Separate eggs. Add the yolks to the mixture; blend well. Add flour and baking powder alternating with milk. Add flavor. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Pour into 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 375\u00b0 until done. Use your favorite frosting.
