Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage, shredded
    3 carrots, finely chopped
    2 ribs celery, finely chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    6 c. beef or chicken broth (more, if needed)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place vegetables in large pot with tomatoes and broth.
    Bring to a boil and simmer covered until thick, about 45 minutes.
