Short Ribs Of Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef short ribs
    3 medium onions, chopped
    2 carrots
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. rice
Preparation
    Heat oil in frying pan.
    Add onions and meat; brown well.
    Put into casserole.
    Mix tomatoes, carrots, rice and seasonings.
    Pour over beef and onions.
    Add hot water to cover all ingredients. Cover and cook in slow oven at 275\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Add more water, if necessary.
