Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) jar tiny whole beets, drained
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. tarragon flavored vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
5 whole cloves
1 (1 1/2-inch) stick cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine beets and onion.
Set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in beets and onion; simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
