Carrot Leek Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. carrots
    1 large leek
    1 (2 lb.) can chicken broth
    3/4 can water
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    potato (add if desired)
Preparation
    Cut carrots and leek into coins.
    Saute carrots and leek in butter until soft.
    Add chicken broth and water.
    Boil until very soft and mushy.
    Put in blender.
    Add nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    If you wish to add potato, do so at the beginning.
