*Lime Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz. each) pkg. lime gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 1/4 c. cold water (use 10 ice cubes for quicker set)
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 can fruit cocktail (17 oz.)
    1 small banana, sliced
    1 medium apple, pared and diced
    1 peeled orange, cut in bite size pieces
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. chopped nuts or celery
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water.
    Add 1 1/4 cups cold water or ice cubes and vinegar.
    Chill until thickened.
    Fold fruits into 1 1/2 cups thickened gelatin; spoon into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Chill until set, but not firm (about 15 minutes).
