Brunch Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
    4 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp. dried whole thyme
    1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    18 hard-cooked eggs
    1/4 c. minced fresh parsley
    1 lb. bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    garnish with parsley sprigs
Preparation
    Melt 1/4 cup butter in heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour.
    Stir until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and half and half.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
    Add cheese and herbs, stirring until cheese melts.
