Miss Ida'S Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large red apple
2 c. raw cranberries
2 oranges
2 pkg. gelatin
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. sugar
1 small can crushed pineapple
Preparation

Put cranberries and apple (plus skin, minus core) in a blender. Add sugar.
Let stand while preparing remainder of ingredients. Put gelatin in 1/2 cup water and set over boiling water to dissolve.
Drain juice from pulp of orange and pineapple.
Measure juice and add enough water to make 1 cup.
Pour into gelatin mix. Add fruit and nuts.
Pour into an 8 x 10-inch cake pan or mold. Refrigerate until firm.
Freezes well.
Serve with turkey or ham.
