Mother'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. lard (part butter or oleo)
2 beaten eggs
1 c. sweet milk
2 c. flour
2 level tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
flour

Preparation

Put soda into flour.
Cream together sugars and lard.
Add beaten eggs, milk, flour and baking powder.
Add enough flour to make a dough that can be rolled out and cut.
(Sometimes I add a tablespoon of vanilla.)
Sprinkle sugar on cookies and some nuts, if you have them.
