Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbeaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. water
    2 tsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In top of a double boiler, mix egg whites, sugar, salt, water and corn syrup.
    Beat over boiling water, at high speed, for 7 minutes or until mixture stands in peaks.
    Remove from water.
    Add vanilla; beat 1 minute more.
    Makes 4 1/2 cups.
