Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. fruit cocktail (undrained)
whipped topping
Preparation

Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside. Beat eggs well and mix with vanilla and fruit cocktail. Fold the fruit mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. When cool, cover with whipped topping.
