Cider Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cider or apple juice
    6 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
    12 cloves
    1 large can pineapple juice
    6 c. orange juice
    2 c. lemon juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
    oranges, sliced
    maraschino cherries (halves)
Preparation
    Simmer cider or apple juice with spices in saucepan for about 15 minutes.
    Cool and remove spices.
    Chill juices until icy cold. Combine all ingredients.
    Pour into a punch bowl on block of ice. Garnish with slices of oranges and cherry halves.
    Makes 5 quarts or 30 servings.
