Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. fresh peaches, sliced and tossed with 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. ground cinnamon, mixed with 2 Tbsp. sugar
    whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease 9 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Place brown sugar in pan and dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Lay peach slices on top. In mixing bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter, baking powder, salt, egg and milk until well blended. Sprinkle mixture over peaches. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with cream if desired.
