Steak Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 lb. ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
Preparation
    In a large pot, brown the beef; drain fat. To meat in pot, add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, mixed vegetables and onion soup. Mix water, pepper, oregano and sugar.
    Add to soups. Stir to mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer 1 hour.
