Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. (2 sq.) unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. sour milk (add a few drops of vinegar to milk to sour)
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Heat chocolate, boiling water and shortening in the top of a double boiler until chocolate is melted and mixture looks glossy when beaten slightly.
