Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 yeast cake
1/2 c. lukewarm water
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
6 to 8 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. scalded milk
Preparation

Mash potatoes; add shortening, sugar, salt and eggs.
Cream well.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; add to lukewarm milk, then add to potato mixture.
Add sifted flour to make a stiff dough.
Toss on board (floured board) and knead well.
Put into large bowl and let rise until double in bulk.
Knead slightly. Place in casserole and rub with butter.
Cover tightly and place in refrigerator until ready to bake.
About one hour before baking time, pinch off dough; shape into rolls as desired.
Cover and let rise until light.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
