Springtime Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. yellow squash, sliced thin
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 medium onions, diced
    2 eggs
    2 c. milk
    3 c. cornbread stuffing
    2 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Reserve 1 cup stuffing and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Cook squash and onion until tender.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish.
    Top with cheese and stuffing.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
