Bran Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. All-Bran cereal
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 c. flour or a little more
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over shortening and let stand until lukewarm, then add salt, sugar, bran and egg.
    Add yeast dissolved in warm water.
    Add flour, using a little more than called for if necessary to make a soft dough.
    Cover with damp cloth and let rise until double in size.
    Work down and shape into rolls.
    Let rise.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until brown.
