Cheese Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French or Italian bread
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 stick margarine or butter
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Remove the crust from bread and cut into 1-inch squares.
    In a double boiler, melt cheese and butter.
    When creamy, fold in egg whites.
    Dip cubes into mixture.
    Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet and freeze.
    When frozen, place in plastic bag and store in freezer.
    To serve, bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
