Ritz Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites (at room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    22 Ritz crackers, crushed (or 22 crushed soda crackers)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Slowly add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
    Add vanilla.
    Combine crackers, nuts and baking powder.
    Fold gently into egg whites.
    Pour into well-greased pie plate.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cover with whipped cream.
    Sprinkle with ground nuts.
    Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
    Serves 6.
