Pierogi Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 lb. potatoes, cooked and mashed or 2 boxes Betty Crocker Potato Buds (8 serving size)
2 1/2 sticks margarine
1/2 to 1 large onion, diced
1 lb. Colby or sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
Preparation

Saute onion in 1 1/2 sticks margarine.
Add rest of butter and cheese.
Prepare instant potatoes according to package directions, if using instead of fresh potatoes.
May need to add more salt and butter to taste.
In 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, layer onion, noodles and potatoes; repeat, ending up with last 3 noodles.
Top with remaining onion.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
