Apple Cheese Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. pared, sliced apples
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Sprinkle apples with lemon juice.
    Arrange in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. (If apples are very dry, add 1/4 cup water to bottom of pan.)
    Blend together butter, sugar and flour until crumbly. Mix in remaining ingredients.
    Spread over apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
    Serves 4 to 6.
