Egg Yolk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 egg yolks
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. lemon extract
    3 c. sifted cake flour
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until light with electric beater.
    Add sugar gradually, then add hot water, beating all the while.
    Add flour, sifted with baking powder and salt.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Turn into angel food cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until broom straw comes out clean.
