Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. sliced cucumbers, 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick
    2 onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. canning salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt on cucumbers and onion and let stand for 2 hours.
    Drain pickles.
    Heat sugar, vinegar and celery seed until sugar melts.
    Let set for 1/2 hour, stirring every 5 minutes.
    Put into containers and freeze.
