Spinach Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 (1.4 oz.) box vegetable soup mix
    1 1/4 c. sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix mayo, vegetable soup mix and sour cream.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Place spinach in bowl.
    Chop water chestnuts finely.
    Add to spinach in bowl.
    Add sour cream mixture and shredded cheese to spinach.
    Mix well.
    Spread on bread slices and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
