Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. strawberries
    5 c. sugar
    1/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cut up strawberries.
    Combine in large Dutch oven.
    Slowly bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves. Boil 12 minutes.
    Skim foams off top.
    Makes 4 half pints.
