Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (reserve 3/4 c. to coat fruit/nuts)
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 tsp. milk
    4 tsp. orange juice
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied green pineapple
    1 lb. dates, cut up
    1 lb. pecans (about 4 c.), chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add 3/4 cup flour and soda, a little at a time.
    Combine milk and orange juice and add to flour mixture. Add nuts and fruits which have been coated with the remaining 3/4 cup flour.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
