Robbie'S Divinity(Before Starting, Pray For It) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. water
dash of salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Cook sugar, corn syrup, water and salt on medium-high.
Stir until it starts to boil.
After it starts boiling, don't stir. Beat egg whites to a stiff peak.
To test boiling mixture (hard ball stage), dip spoon into it.
When the last drops off, it will string down like flying hair.
(No joke.)
Mix and slowly add to egg whites; mix on high.
Add vanilla.
Mix (high) for 5 minutes or until it gets hard.
Add nuts.
Spoon on wax paper.
