James' Irish Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. quick oats
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
Preparation
    Optional:
    Use 1/2 butterscotch morsels and 1/2 chocolate morsels and 1/2 cup coconut (to make cookie chewy).
