The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. large pecan pieces (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
    Beat at medium speed until creamy.
    Beat egg into creamed mixture.
    Combine flour, salt and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture just until blended.
    Stir in chocolate chips and pecan pieces.
    Drop rounded tablespoonfuls (about 2 measuring tablespoons) of dough 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.
    Don't overbake.
    Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to foil or countertop. Yield:
    about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
