Ginger Beets And Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 small (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple tidbits with syrup
    1 (1 lb.) can diced beets, drained
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, powdered ginger, salt and pepper. Add pineapple tidbits with syrup.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly until bubbly and slightly thickened.
    Add beets.
    Cook over medium heat 5 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
