Chicken Divan - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 whole boneless chicken breasts
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
1 stick butter or margarine
1 (13 1/4 oz.) can chicken broth
6 Tbsp. flour
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. cooking sherry
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Clean chicken and cut in strips.
Place chicken pieces in a large skillet sprayed with Pam.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and saute until lightly browned.
While chicken is cooking, place butter in a saucepan and melt over medium heat, then add flour, salt and pepper and stir until blended.
Add chicken broth and stir with a whisk; add cooking sherry and continue to stir.
Add evaporated milk and continue to whisk until mixture thickens.
Turn burner off.
Cook broccoli in microwave for about 5 minutes.
Place broccoli in casserole dish and pour half of white sauce over it.
Layer chicken on top.
Add Parmesan cheese to rest of sauce.
Pour over top of chicken.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes.
