Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    9-inch unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add syrup, salt, flavoring.
    Beat well.
    Beat in eggs one at a time.
    Add pecans and pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Bake slowly in oven at about 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
