Turtle Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. softened butter
    3 eggs
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Melt caramels and milk in microwave.
    Combine cake mix with water, butter and eggs.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until gooey cake puffs up.
    Pour melted caramels evenly over cake.
    Sprinkle on chips and nuts. Pour remaining batter on top and bake 30 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
