Frozen Blueberry Creme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 c. fresh blueberries, washed and stemmed
    1 c. plus 1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    9 pkt. sugar substitute
Preparation
    Reserve a few blueberries for garnish.
    In a blender, puree remaining berries with 1 cup evaporated skim milk, sugar substitute, and sugar.
    In a saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over cold water.
    Dissolve gelatin over low flame.
    Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
    Stir gelatin mixture into blueberry mixture.
    Whip remaining 1/2 cup evaporated milk until thick but not stiff.
    Fold into blueberry mixture.
    Pour into 2-quart bowl.
    Freeze for several hours, stirring occasionally, until mushy.
    Spoon into dessert dishes while still soft.
    Garnish with blueberries.
    Serves 8.
