Grandma'S Portuguese Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. carrots, quartered
    10 to 15 potatoes, quartered
    1 can green beans
    1 can corn
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 bell pepper (optional)
    1 large can tomato juice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Make thin hamburger patties.
    Layer bottom of pan.
    Layer carrots (quartered), potatoes (quartered), 1/2 can green beans, 1/2 can corn, 1/2 bell pepper, 1/2 onion, salt and pepper.
    Repeat again.
    Pour can of tomato juice.
    If you have any meat left over, make patties and cover top of vegetables. Cover pan.
    Cook approximately 2 1/2 hours.
