Fresh Kosher Style Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 to 36 (3 to 4-inch) cucumbers
    3 c. distilled vinegar
    1 pod hot pepper (per jar)
    1 clove garlic (per jar)
    3 c. water
    6 Tbsp. salt
    fresh or dried dill
    mustard seed
Preparation
    Make a brine of the vinegar, water and salt.
    Boil.
    Put dill, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 tablespoon mustard seed and 1 pod hot pepper in the bottom of each jar.
    Add cucumbers.
    Pour hot brine over them.
    Seal.
    Place in a deep pot of boiling water.
    Leave in for 5 minutes.
    Remove immediately.
