"Gran'S" Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening (part butter)
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Add slowly to batter. Refrigerate until cold.
    Roll out on floured surface.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Place on cookie sheets.
    Bake until lightly browned at 350\u00b0.
