Mock Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks margarine
1 c. sugar
saltines
about 1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes.
On a large cookie sheet, place saltines in a single layer.
Pour mixture over them.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes (watch carefully).
Spread chocolate chips over and spread them as they melt.
Chill.
Break into pieces.
