Microwave Peanut Brittle #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1/2 c. thick white corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Place sugar, peanuts and corn syrup in a large microwave-safe dish.
    Cook on High in microwave for 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Stir.
    Cook another 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
    Stir and add vanilla and margarine.
    Cook for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
    Add soda.
    Stir well.
    Pour onto buttered cookie sheet; spread and pull quickly until thin and let it cool.
    Break into pieces and store in a sealed container.
