Cheesy Potatoes And Franks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. Crisco
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded American cheese
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 lb. hot dogs
3 c. sliced potatoes
Preparation

In saucepan, cook onion in hot Crisco until tender.
Stir in flour and salt.
Add milk.
Cook and stir over low heat until thick and bubbly.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese and mustard.
Cut hot dogs into 1/4-inch slices.
In greased 2-quart casserole, arrange layers of half the potatoes, hot dogs and cheese sauce.
Repeat layers.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
