Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1 c. salt (pickling salt)
    3 qt. water
Preparation
    Bring to a boil and pour over cucumbers in jars.
    Add clove of garlic, dill, red pepper and 1/8 teaspoon of powdered alum to each jar and seal.
