Roast(As Used At Amish Weddings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large chickens
3 gal. cubed bread
8 eggs
1 lb. butter
1 lb. margarine
1/3 gal. celery, finely blended
2 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Roast chickens in oven until done.
Remove meat from bones and cube.
Set aside.
Mix butter, margarine and ground celery in saucepan and cook until butter browns.
Set aside.
Beat eggs; add seasonings.
Pour over bread cubes.
Add butter mixture and toss. Place in greased roast pan.
Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
Stir a few times so edges don't dry out.
Serve with chicken gravy.
