Oreo Cookie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreos
    1 stick melted butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 large bowl Cool Whip
    1 large box chocolate instant pudding
Preparation
    Crush cookies until you have coarse crumbs.
    Reserve 1/4 cup for topping.
    To the rest, add the melted butter and mix well. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan or dish.
    Cream the cheese with electric mixer, adding powdered sugar; beat well.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Spread mixture on top of crust, reserving 1 cup for later. Let chill 30 minutes.
