Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. chicken base
    1/4 c. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. diced celery
    1 qt. milk
    1 qt. half and half
    2 qt. fresh broccoli
    1/4 lb. butter
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. cooking sherry (optional)
Preparation
    Clean and cut up broccoli.
    Add first 7 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook on low heat.
    Stir occasionally.
    Boil broccoli for 12 minutes or until tender and immediately add to mixture. Increase heat to medium-high.
    Simmer and stir.
    Melt butter; mix with flour to get creamy mixture.
    Add to soup.
    When soup thickens, add sherry.
    Mix well.
    Eat.
