Ego Batter Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    1 pkg. Fleischmann's active dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. margarine or shortening
Preparation
    Measure warm water into a large warm bowl.
    Sprinkle in yeast. Stir until dissolved.
    Stir in sugar, salt and half the flour. Beat with a spoon until smooth.
    Add egg and margarine.
    Beat in rest of flour until smooth.
    Scrape down sides of bowl; cover.
    Let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about 30 minutes.
    Stir down dough and spoon into 12 large greased muffin cups, filling to 1/2 full.
    Again let rise to top of muffin cups (20 to 30 minutes). Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until done.
    Makes 12 buns.
