Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef (pot roast)
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    2 Tbsp. salt
    4 peppercorns
    3 whole cloves
    2 Tbsp. flour mixed with water
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
    2 bay leaves
    1 large sliced onion
Preparation
    Make brine from all ingredients (except meat) and leave overnight at room temperature.
    Stir once or twice.
    Pour over meat.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven, 2 hours.
    Serve with Kloese (dumplings) or cooked noodles.
