Sour Cream Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. creamed-style cottage cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions.
    Rinse and drain.
    In skillet, brown the meat in butter.
    Add salt, pepper and garlic salt, then the tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Combine the cottage cheese, sour cream and chopped onions with the noodles.
    Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Top with the meat mixture.
    Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    This dish can be frozen.
    It is best made the day before.
    This is really good.
