Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. navy beans
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 or so celery stalks (with leaves), chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    salt and pepper
    ham bone(s)
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in 6 cups of water.
    Drain and rinse well. Put beans and bone(s) in 3 quarts of water. Simmer for 1 hour.
