Quiche Loraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large pie crust
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 medium white onion, chopped
1/2 c. fried bacon, crumbled
1 c. grated baby Swiss cheese
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
white or red pepper
nutmeg (scant amount)
1 c. cream
Preparation

Bake pie crust 3 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Prick with fork and bake 5 more minutes. Saute onion in butter. Combine all ingredients and pour into crust.
If not enough to fill, beat one more egg with 1/2 cup cream.
Bake 1 hour or until set.
Let set before cutting.
